What will be the flavor of your summer this year? Sun, beach, or discovering a different country? And what if summer was the time to do something different?
Today we want to introduce you to educational travel: go abroad for an intensive training and learn new skills! We will focus on 7 courses for which France summer schools are famous: fashion, arts and cooking! Come study with us this summer!
First of all, why should you come to France to study?
Studying in France for a few weeks is an amazing eye-opening opportunity to make your trip really different. First, you will come back with skills and degrees or certificates that will be useful qualifications for the rest of your life and career or that simply will bring another dimension to your personal development.
But you will also get the chance to explore the destination in depth: beyond the Champs-Elysees, the Louvre or the Eiffel tower, you will discover daily life in this welcoming and thriving city of Paris! Staying for a longer time as part of a programme will give you the chance to experience everything like a local !
So what do France and Paris in particular have to offer that is so special?
Well, if France is famous as a romantic destination, it’s mostly thanks to its extensive heritage and know-how in everything around our “art de vivre” or lifestyle. When it comes to fashion, design, fine arts, culture, or music or contemporary productions, France’s educational resources are world-famous.
And if organizing such a big in-depth travel sounds challenging for you, don’t worry: this is what travel planners like us are here for! We will be happy to assist you with the school registration process, finding accommodation that is safe and convenient for your course or giving you loads of advice to make your study tour a success!

Go for pure practice to learn about designing your own collections at the French High Fashion Institute! As the world’s first fashion school, founded in 1841, and with prominent reputation in the entire industry, the Institute proposes 4-weeks summer programs in fashion design, patterns-making, with a hint of classes on how to run your fashion business too. The so-called “Harvard University of Fashion” runs 60 to 120H courses starting at 1500 Euros. It also enjoys a prime location in the 9th district of Paris, close to Galeries Lafayette and the Printemps, for you to admire the best designers collections between your classes.
If you already have some background or experience in fashion design, we recommend you look for the more advanced classes of the Istituto Marangoni. With three campuses in Paris, London and Milan, the Istituto has trained most of top brands designers in Europe. Did you know? 80% of Versace and Prada employees are from Istituto Marangoni: international fashion trends are born here. The 3-weeks long summer courses include fashion design but also broader perspectives on styling, photography, setting trends or fashion business management, including marketing, company strategy etc.

For the summer, we particularly recommend their Introduction to Studio Photography, Advertising Photography or Portrait Photography and Fashion Photography courses!
